We wanted to show the beautiful detail in this hat and emphasise its organic qualities, as it looked grown rather than made. We arranged this shot for the hat to appear as if it were part of the landscape, sprouting from the side of the dune. The similarity in tone of the models face and the sand causes her face to merge with the background making, the hat prominent.
