‘Under My Skin’ was opened by the textile artist Michael Brennand-Wood and Councillor Hackett at an afternoon event that was attended by more than 200 people. Live jazz music from local combo Six Pack created a party atmosphere that was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone. The show ran for three months and the gallery reported that it was very popular with the viewing public, attracting lots of favourable comments. This picture shows the works on plinths specially made for the show by ‘Benchmark’, a woodwork-based sister-service to Start.
