Horticulture Gallery Title : Transplanting Seedlings
These vegetable seedlings were raised in the greenhouse and then transplanted when large enough out onto the vegetable plot. Raising seeds in the greenhouse gives us an earlier crop of the chosen variety. Transplanting is quite a tricky job and we make sure that each student is instructed in how to handle seedlings and how deep to plant them.
